Full Description: The Bocas Charter consists of three double cabins, one bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, which allows a maximum of 6 people to comfortably live for several days on board Naylamp.
The boat is equipped with radar system, sonar, GPS, automatic pilot, EPIRB, complete communication system (SSB, VHF), e-mail, TV, DVD, VHS, HIFI sound system, as well as a full safety system for navigation.
Our dinghy is a zodiac with 15 hp outboard engine.
Tour members will privately be transferred from the International Airport of Panama to Panama City. Once in Panama City the tour members will be transferred to the National Airport in order to catch a 1 hr flight to Bocas del Toro or stay in a Panama Hotel for that night. Once you touch land in Bocas del Toro a staff member will escort you to a 41 ft sailboat in order to start the water portion of the tour.
That first night you will accommodate your self in the vessel and enjoy the first meal offered by our hosts. We offer you our best menu consisting in ceviche, curry and coconut shrimps, olive octopus, fettuccini with crab white sauce, blue salad, etc. Our style is a mix of Caribbean, Mediterranean and Peruvian cuisine, which means lots of fresh fish, seafood, fresh local vegetables, fruits and pastas. We cook everything on board to guarantee its freshness and good quality. All this is accompanied with good wines, beer, sodas, of your choice. If you let us know in advance, we are glad to adapt our menus to your nutritional preferences or needs.
During the next days you will have the option to head out for flexible activities around the tropical islets of Bocas del Toro;
Snorkeling: We count with snorkeling gear for up to 10 people in the vessel, besides flashlights for night snorkeling. We offer our experience to teach new people (children and adults) this wonderful activity.
Scuba: There is equipment for 3 people now available. Night dives and courses are an option.
Kayaking: We count with 2 double kayaks, one of which has the capacity to carry diving gear.
Sailing: for those interested in learning and practicing the skill of sailing, the experienced will be available as a your teacher, while cruising during a trip. As well we can offer private lessons for those interested in the finer details of seamanship.
Fishing: There are two fishing rods for use during navigation, plus a smaller one for fishing near the reefs when using the zodiac. Also we have a wide variety of lures to pursue all the local species of edible fish.
Trekking: We invite you to join us and visit one of the many small paths we know around the area. We know and enjoy sharing with our guest the knowledge we have of these natural places. Binoculars, walky-talkies, etc, are available for your use. Boots and long pants are recommended.
Snuba: This is different than scuba diving, all the heavy gear is carried in a kayak. A hose connects you to the tank above, allowing you to descent up to 35 feet. We have gear for 6 people.
Surfing: we can arrange special trips for surfers to places la Paunch, Dumpers and other outer islands surf breaks carrying your own equipment on board and have accommodation, food, and transportation to the surf spots.
Visit Indigenous Villages : we interact with the indigenous communities of the area. We understand and respect their traditions, customs and life style.
