A unique 80ft sailing ship designed by arguably the finest sailboat designer ever, Sparkman and Stevens.
The ship has a wonderful large flush deck with high bulwalks so your gear will not disappear over the side. She carries just under 3,000 ft sqr of sail and is capable of sailing faster than by motor. Has been clocked at twelve knots many times.
The main is the reliable Detroit 67 diesel, which gives a steady cruise speed of between six to eight knots. This sail boat has a very modern hybrid schooner rig, which allows the crew to furl up the sails to meet the conditions. She also carries Side scan sonar and a ROV for those depths which are unattainable to SCUBA divers.
